To round off a one year journey of chairmanship of ASEAN, Singapore hosted the 32nd ASEAN Summit in 2018 and Experience Matters was the appointed agency to pull off staging this important event.
Heads of state from ASEAN gathered to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by international developments with a view of strengthening ASEAN’s resilience and fostering innovation and cooperation. The event was hosted by Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and received more than 1,000 delegates, as well as 400 media personnel.
Experience Matters conscientiously orchestrated all necessary logistics across this prominent event. Due to the profile of the guests every protocol had to be meticulously planned and executed with precision, allowing no margin for error.
We showcased intricate coordination between the main meeting venue at Shangri-la Hotel, the media hub at Orchard Hotel, and a meeting luncheon at The Istana. Operating at the highest levels of security to ensure the safety of all the attendees, we managed security clearance for almost 3,000 vendors who were involved with the event.
Despite being logistically challenging and pitched as an event with the highest stakes possible, Experience Matters rose to the task and delivered a smooth and successful 32nd ASEAN Summit 2018.
