Every person has a story to tell.
Here’s ours… what’s yours?

Life is short - carpe diem! This wisdom I learnt from many of life’s experiences, particularly when I was hiking up Mount Annapurna Base Camp in winter one day, getting lashed by a powerful hailstorm that came from nowhere. It just brought into sharp focus how fragile life can be, and I learnt to seize each day as a gift to be treasured and lived fully.

If I could eat a curry puff every day, I would! But I know that that’s not good for me, and since I do always strive to be my best self, it means looking the other way… walking on by… snuffing out all evil curry puffy thoughts… and live to fight another day!

Jasmine Yee

When I attended the Rainbow Serpent Festival back in 2017, I was transformed by the dynamic energy, warmth and sense of freedom that permeated the event. Since then, I have valued making deeper connections with people in everything I do and constantly seek ways to celebrate life.

MELISSA PEÑAFIEL

What gives me the greatest satisfaction is when I see our team working together like gears in a well-oiled machine. Everyone has a part to play and we all contribute to creating a good event.

MICHELLE LEE

One of my most memorable experiences was lying in the middle of the usually busy streets of Hong Kong Central, turned overnight into the Formula E track; gazing at the speckle of stars through the sleepless skyscrapers, enjoying a moment of calm before the storm.

Zuhairah Zohri

Travelling solo unlocked many inner doors and showed me the potential I have within myself. I am now more open to doing things I wanted to do but didn’t dare to before!

Jonathan Wong

Being good, is always being better.

Tan Wenya

I found out that I was an adrenaline junkie when one of my best friends surprised me with a skydiving experience in New Zealand. How exhilarating it was to free fall from a height of 15,000 feet, with nothing but the beautiful landscape below me.

LEE EE TENG

I am mindful of practising gratitude each day, counting the blessings in my life, like my family, close friends, having work that I enjoy, and a great team of colleagues here at Experience Matters who share the same passion as I do.
I like to think about life going by like the seasons. In every season, we connect with different people and experiences. Some stay with you for life, while others, like the dropping of autumn leaves, are to be cherished only for that season and then, let go. But it is through these meaningful moments that my life is made fuller and my memories richer.

JOSHUA TAY

Managing work while living life to the fullest is my focus.

Victoria Lim

In my lifetime, I would like to achieve happiness and peace, and yet find fulfilment by accomplishing my goals. At times, this is not possible because chasing one’s dreams can be stressful. But I will continue to work at finding this balance!

Goh Shimin

The most important thing to me is that the people closest to me are healthy and happy. That’s all that really matters!

Evonne Ooi

I find meaning in life when I am able to share my creations. It is all about bringing joy and positivity to others through my designs.

SHERRIE KUA

We live in a world of rules where we are constantly told what to do and how to be. Staying true to myself is what matters to me, and I consider that a blessing.

Jennifer Yeong

Do it with passion or not at all.

Winnie Liu

I believe in living life with purpose and whenever I can, I make time for myself so that I can unleash my inner artist through crafts!

HENG SHENGHUI

I believe in doing things with kindness, fairness and empathy.

Natalie Tan

I think it’s important to be open to the possibilities and opportunities life presents you everyday. Once, I went up on stage in front of a live audience and sang something totally impromptu. What a rush! You never know you have it in you until you try!

SAMUEL LIM

"Creating new adventurous memories with my friends" is my personal motto. Taking in the sight of the Milky Way with my friends in Australia easily took the cake. Although the stars in the sky show how individually insignificant we are compared to the universe, the fellowship appreciation of that very scene shows how significant we are to one another.
